Hello, this is Digimon Masters.
First of all,we would like to thank all of our players for the kind interestyou have been giving to Digimon Masters and we greatly appreciate your enthusiasm for the game.
Back on September 11, 2012,we posted an announcement accepting queries to be directed at thedeveloper in a corner called “Queries are welcome; developers will answer”. We are now returning to your most asked top 10 questions with answers coming directly from the developer.We hope these responses will help ease your curiosity and uncover those questions you had.
Know that we are constantly finding ways and means to improve the game,and we hopeyou will continue supporting us as we strive to provide you with a better gaming experience.
Listed here are the questions that most of our players wanted to be answered by our developer.
Q1. The Digimon Maze area quest is so difficult and it is hard to get into the upper area. Is there a way to make it easier?
A1.
The Maze is currently the most difficult map for Digimon Masters, and it is true that we made the quest intentionally difficult to fulfill. However, we are now aware that we may have been a little too excited to make the quest as difficult as possible, so we’re currently in the process of fixing it. Below are the possible improvements you can expect.
1. Decreasing the number of quest item goals
2. Slightly increasing the quest item drop rate
The gamers will be notified on the improvement updates on the soonest possible date. We assure you that we will work hard to make more users enjoy the game.
Q2. Please add a BM mode for old Digimons and more riding modes.
A2.
More riding modes will be added in the near future. There are also plans to continuously update the BM mode, but this maytake some time becauseofour contract with the company that ownsthe copyright of Digimon universe, Bandai. The contractstates thatwe mustfirst consult with Bandai before we add a Tamer or Digimon.
Q3. Please add more diverse tamers or make the tamer customizing possible.
A3.
New tamer characters will be added as early as the 4th quarter of 2012, or by the 1st quarter of 2013 at the latest. We cannot tell you much about the tamer character in detail yet, but one hint we can give is that the character isrelated to the surveys we conducted through our official website. We hope youwilllook forward to the new tamers and will show equalinterest in themas you do with the current tamers.
As for tamer customizing, as mentioned in my answer to Q2, we cannot directly correct a tamer or Digimon’s appearance because of the strict supervision with the company due to itscopyright. As you well know, these tamers are based off of actual characters from the Digimon anime series. However, we will be adding a variety of avatar items so you can dressup your character to your taste and create an individual style.
Q4. Please get rid of the item Drop Cap.
A4.
Getting rid of the item Drop Cap in different levels is linked to many complicated issues;thus, it’s hard for us to think simply getting rid of it is a good choice at the moment.
One of the main problems that can arise from getting rid of the Drop Cap is that there is a high riskof increased number ofBots. We believe that you fully understand the negativeeffects this can lead to.
Another problem is that if high leveledusers crowdinlowerleveledareas, there will be fewerhunting grounds forlow leveled users to explore. More users will try to hunt in areas inlower levels for easierfarming, and this will be disadvantageous to users who simply wish to enjoyhunting at their own level.
Getting rid of Drop Cap may be a solution to the pricing issue with the in-game economywhich most of you are concernedabout, but it does not appear to be a fundamental solution. We will use other methods for price control(such as event rewards, cash items given away through monster cards or boss monster drops, or item mall discount events etc.)to make sure you will be able toenjoy the game without any inconveniences.
Q5. Please control the Autobots.
A5.
Restraints are being applied to Bot users in case usage is discovered. GMs work on banning such users through 24-hour surveillance;however, there are some difficulties due to limited resourcesto handle the amount of Bots being produced. We are trying to control the number as much as possible and will continue to work on this matter to the best of our abilities.
If you see any suspicious characters during the game or have information on websites that develop or distribute Bot programs, please contact the website customer center any time.
Q6. Please hold an EXP 500% event. The server breaks down during a 500% EXP event. When will this be corrected?
A6.
To begin with, we would like to apologize for not providinga 500% EXP event. Our original plan was held back due to serious errors. We will do our best to correct such errors as fast as possible. Until then, we will make extra efforts to ensure a smootherleveling-up process.
Q7. When will the PvP battle system be updated?? I am really looking forward to it.
A7.
The development of the battle system has currently been halted due to the number of workers within the development changing during the course of the project. Additionally, other issues arose in the midst of the development, such as balance. Therefore, the decision has been made to reorganize the said plan from the start.
After the jogress system and updates such as new additional areas are complete, we plan to develop a new battle system in 2013. We apologize once again for the delay in the development of the battle systemand know that we will present them to you when we are absolutely sure it is complete.
Q8. Are there plans to add a new map or an instance dungeon that can be enjoyed by individuals or parties? (Jungles, hell, heaven or major areas in animations, etc.)
A8.
We are planning a large scale update in the first half of 2013, which will include various contents being updated. The main changes include new areas (around 6 new areas), Digimon and tamer’s level expansion, an additional raid typed boss monster, an additional tamer skill system, and—aswe answered in Q3—anew tamer.
We are planning to add newboss monster withinthe newly addedarea using thenew skill systems (e.g. skills with wide-area damaging effects), and another area battling theboss will be in the form of an instance dungeon.
Development is still inprocess and we hope that you understand if we cannot reveal much of the detailsat the moment. We will try our best to keep you postedthrough announcements in the near future. Please keep in mind that some of the concepts are still under development and some changes may be made to suit the current needs.
Q9. Please make a jogress (joint progress) system so we can have an Omnimon, etc.
A9.
A jogress system will be added in the winter. The first jogress Digimon will be an Omnimon, and various jogress Digimons will be added after. There will be announcements in the future related to the details.
Q10. Can you provide a special update just for GDM? (Priority addition of new Digimons or special avatars, etc.)
A10.
GDM is provided to many different users around the world, and we are doing our best to provide the most stable updates. Our utmost importance is to provide a well-balanced and bug-free update, which requires repeated confirmations and check-ups even at the last moment. We hope you understandour delay.
We are reviewing theseadditionsof new Digimons in a positive light, and will try our bestto makenew additions for two to four times a year. Special avatars for GDM also have to pass the Bandai standards;thus, we cannot state our plans for certain but we will work on reflecting them as much as possible.

esta interesante sobre todo la 8 en el final q dice q el area de efectos de daño sera ampliada... que significara q le puedes dar con un skill a varios digis?? almenos entiendo eso xD ojala q si... lastima le hubieran preguntado como funcionaran las jogress... gracias amigo esta buena la noticia!!!!!

Claro, se refiere a skills de daño zonal, que dañen a varios digis cercanos. Supongo que la única aplicación útil seria en una joggres, un digi normal que incite a 3 o 4 digis a atacarlo es digi muerto! xD

Con el permiso de ORL (el cual voy a obviar xD) me voy a poner a traducir el textirijillo.
